Last updated: July 2026

1. Independence

Behavior Analysts for AI is an independent professional initiative. It is not affiliated with, sponsored by, or endorsed by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board (BACB®). References to the BACB Ethics Code are nominative.

2. Not professional advice

All content is educational only. It is not legal, billing, clinical, or compliance advice, and should not be relied on as such.

3. Voluntary standards

Conformance language in BAAI/S-1 (SHALL, SHOULD, MAY) describes the standard's own requirements. It does not describe law or regulatory obligations.

4. No vendor endorsements

BAAI does not publish named vendor reviews, scores, or endorsements. The Vendor Evaluation Framework is a tool that organizations apply for themselves; results are not BAAI certifications.

5. Research translations

Summaries of third-party research are BAAI's interpretations for a practitioner audience. Always consult the original source before making practice decisions.

6. External links

This site links to third-party resources for convenience. BAAI is not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of external sites.

7. AI-assisted content

Some BAAI materials are drafted with AI assistance and reviewed by humans before publication.
